The region Burgundy consists of four departments: Yonne, Nièvre, Saône and Loire and Yonne. La Bonne Vie is located in the Saône and Loire. Here is the web page of the Tourist Office of Burgundy where you will find the calendar of events and heritages a visit worth.

BEAUNE: www.ot-beaune.fr

The capital of the wine region is highly recommended, obviously for the offering of high quality wines in the many cellars, but also its cultural attractions. The heart of the town is an ancient Romain fortress. The Tourist Office is located in the heart of the city. We recommend to start your city visit by the VISION2000 tourist train. It’s departure is in front of the famous Hospice (poor mens health care in the middle ages) on the market square.
Market on Saturday morning. Shopping: City centre and Leclerc (north).

CHALON SUR SAÔNE: www.chalon-sur-saone.net

The interesting part of this large city is the old centre around the river Saône.  The centre is rich of houses built in the middle ages and is a pedestrian area. The tourist office is located near to the N6 at 4 Place du Port Villiers. Here you can book guided tours, as well as journeys on the river Saône.
Market on friday and saturday (morning). Shopping: ZI South (Carrefour) or Géant Casino (north).

Le CREUSOT: www.creusot.net and Montceau les Mines

Le Creusot is an assemblage of several mining villages and consequently there is no old heart, but several. The very small apartments stay us from the Schneider dynasty, a period with heavy industry in coal mines and steel production. A city not really very attractive but with some interesting objects,  that are certainly worth to be visited. We recommend to start your tour at the tourist office located near the Château De La Verrerie. In this castle their is a museum on crystal production and another on the role of the region in the industrial revolution. The steam trains designed here were even assembled in Poland (we talk 1915). In the 22 hectares park around the castle you will see trees from all over the world.
Market: Thursday and Saturday morning. Shopping: Géant – Torcy or Leclerc in Le Breuil.

Other points of interest:
Mine museum in  Blanzy
Schoolmuseum
Parc des Combes Fun park for kids and carting.

AUTUN: www.autun.com

Autun is an ancient Roman fortification. Unfortunately, there is not much more. But a part of the imposant walls still exist. n summer the tourist train leaves from the market place in the city centre.  The tourist office is located at 2, Avenue Charles de Gaulle, near the market square with its beautiful theatre and Town Hall. A must visit item is the cathedral which is nicely renovated.
Markets wednesday and friday (morning). Friday partially in the basement of the city hall.
